There was a german village in Niagara Falls, NY & he eventually went there. While there he met a young girl, Maria Eichelman, who was visiting her twin sister. They eventually got married & settled in Meadville, PA. Because he had left Germany his father was forced to pay the German Government because of his son's failure to join the army. |
