Child 3:   William Frederick Duerr Born: 5-Jan-1876 Died: 29-Mar-1945 Spouse: Anna Marie Bittler Children: Frank Phillip Duerr, Gertrude Sophie Duerr, Sophia Emma Duerr, Anna Catherine Cecile Duerr, Mary Marguerite Emily Duerr Occupation: Tool & Dye Maker at both Erie (PA) Railroad & Barrett Machine until accident at the plant where a piece of steel got in his eye & left him blind in that eye. He then worked with local carpenters. After he married Anna Bittler he built a home on Morgan St. (Meadville, PA) where they raised 5 children & farmed their land along with horses, cows, pigs & chickens. He came to America May 29, 1888 along with his father Frederick & two sisters, Lena & Sophie. He was 12. (more details available). After naturalized, the spelling of the name changed from Durr to Duerr.
